Tru-Blu Test Strips are available through all authorized Genesis Device dealers. The use of these strips will help you determine how much, if any, additional Tru-Blu to add to your water due to evaporation and/or removal.
Each Strip Tests for Sodium Bromide
(Does not test for Bromine)
- Fill a small glass with one inch of pool/spa water.
- Insert lower end of strip into water. IMPORTANT: Keep top half of strip completely dry to get an accurate reading.
- Yellow band will turn dark when test is complete (should take 3-4 minutes).
- See table below: a reading of between 1,900 and 2,100 ppm is recommended.
